A woman on the street just waved at me, so I waved back, just out of random friendliness. Then it turned out she thought I was a friend of hers. A female friend. It’s the second time in a couple weeks that I’ve been read as female by a stranger. It’s interesting to me since I don’t make any effort to pass as a woman.

BTW, the name of the planet in the opening sequence of Star Trek: Into Darkness is “Nibiru.” And anyone who has seen the movie and knows what happens there, who also has read any of the “Ancient Astrononaut/Alien” theory beliefs about Nibiru hopefully will appreciate what is a truly stellar subtle joke.

Yesterday I was fully intending to let this go, and I’ve really debated if I want to continue this argument any longer, but I just can’t let it sit because I really, really hate it when people put words in my mouth and put positions on me that I never said and that I don’t believe.
